Dating Scan.

NT Scan.
The NT, or nuchal translucency, scan is done between 11 weeks and 13 weeks 6 days and measures the fluid at the back of the baby’s neck as part of first-trimester screening for chromosomal conditions. It is combined with a blood test for a fuller risk assessment, which is one reason early antenatal booking matters.
> Second Trimester, 13 to 26 Weeks
Anomaly Scan.
The anomaly scan, generally done between 18 and 20 weeks, examines the baby’s organs, spine, limbs and growth in detail to check for structural abnormalities. This is usually the longest scan of the pregnancy. Dr. Mahadar reviews the findings directly with the patient at the same visit rather than sending a report to be explained later.
> Third Trimester, 27 Weeks Onward
Growth Scan.
A growth scan tracks the baby’s weight, size and amniotic fluid level, usually from the third trimester onward or earlier if a specific concern is being monitored. Repeated growth scans are often needed for high-risk pregnancies such as diabetes or hypertension. Performing them in-house means results are available immediately.
Doppler Scan.
